This is a Help Document to try & explain the functions etc of the Camps and Vans Web Site.

The next page is the Register Page :




Now you must complete the section on the left under Create a New Account paying special attention to the email address, as the address given here will receive an activation email once the Create User button has been pressed.
Please pay particular attention to and read the section on the right under Membership Information.
Once completed the next page is :

If you hit continue it will take you back to the home page.
You should now receive a User Account Created email at the email address nominated in your registration details.
This lists the terms and conditions of your membership. In the email will be
“Please confirm your email address by clicking here.”
Once clicked on, this will advise the administrator that a new account has been created.

They will in turn send you a Pay Pal invoice depending on what you clicked on the registration page (DVD etc).
Once the Pay Pal Invoice has been paid your account will be activated and you will be free to log in and you will have access to all of the features of the Web Page.
Now let’s look at each tab
You can search for a POI by Name or by Map

Now you can search either by Site Name, Town Name, or if you know the coordinates by them.
Let’s use Clare as an example.

Now as you can see it has returned 4 matches in the Clare Region as well as showing them on the Map on the right.
You will see that each, POI shows the Name, Symbol, Address, Phone Number, Details as follows :
PS = Powered Sites
UPS = Unpowered Sites
OS = Onsite Accommodation, this could be either Cabins or Caravans etc.
ES = Ensuite Powered Sites
HS = Showers
W = Washing Machines
DR = Dryers
As well as the facilities available at the site, if you hover your mouse over an icon it will show you what each one represents.
For your information the symbols represent the following :



The actual sites are shown as follows :
- Closed
- Non Guest Dump Sites (usually a Caravan Park
where non guests can use their Dump Site Facility’s some may charge for this)

Dump Site (Usually a Public Facility)
- Big 4 Caravan Park No Pets
- Caravan Park
- Caravan Park No Pets
- Day Camp
- Day Camps No Pets
- Family Park Caravan Park
- Family Park Caravan Park No Pets
- Night Camp
- Night Camp No Pets
- Oz Park Caravan Park
- Oz Park Caravan Park No Pets
- Top Tourist Caravan Park
- Top Tourist Caravan Park No Pets
Now you can either click on one of the sites listed or search again.
Clicking on Clare Caravan Park shows the following :


Now as you can see it shows the following but may also contain what is listed below :
POI Name
Address with the side of the road the POI is located W = West
Suburb, State, Postcode
Phone Number
2nd Phone Number – Usually a booking number
Fax Number
Web Site
Email Address
(By clicking on either of these links it will take you to either the web site listed or open up your email program and insert the email address in the To section)
Latitude & Longitude
Comments (These are any comments from members or other comments that I could find about the site)
Facilities (As per above legend)
It also shows 2 maps on the right, 1 is a Satellite view and the other is a street view using Google Maps.
References. This will show the Star Rating and or the Price Range.
$ = up to $22.00
$+ = $23 - $30
$++ = $31.00 and above

Other Sites in Area / Street View – This shows any other sites within the area, you can hover your mouse over a symbol and it will tell you the name of the site. If you want to view that site click on it which will open up a small window where if you want to see the full information click on more info.

You can also view a Street View of any area if you drag the Little Man to an area that you want to view, if the roads turn blue a Street View is available.

You can even Zoom In using the + & - sign in the top left hand corner so that you can view the map in more detail.


Here you can choose the type of sites that you want to see on the right, then click on the map to zoom into that area.

As before if you hover your mouse over a Symbol it will tell you the name of the site and if you want to view that POI click on more info and it will open up that site.
You can zoom in or using your mouse move the map around until you find the area that you want to explore.

This shows any new sites that have been added in date order, as well as showing them on the map on the right.
You can always choose to see either the map or a satellite image,

Testimonials
This lists the companies or individuals who have contributed or helped me along the way. Along with links to their respective web sites.
Allows you to see some sample sites and view the download page but you are unable to actually download anything until you register as per above.
This is where you can download what you require for either your GPS or Computer.
Click on the link on the left under Title and it will allow you to download the file of your choice.
Size – The size of the download.
Description – Description of the file and any instructions as to what to do.
Last Updated – The date of the last update.
Allows you to change your password or edit your profile.
If you have forgotten your Password you can enter your Username and click on the link where you log in and new password will be sent to your email address. You can then log in and go to the Profile Page and change your password to something that you want.
